Mid-Hudson Interpreter Service, a program of Taconic Resources for Independence located in Poughkeepsie, New York, has been providing American Sign Language (ASL)/ English interpreting and translating services since 1992. MHIS provides sign language interpreting services to Dutchess County, Orange County, Ulster County, Putnam County, Rockland County, Sullivan County, Westchester County, throughout the Mid Hudson Valley and beyond.
