Thomas Marone, President
Tom is President of the Board of Directors for Taconic Resources for Independence. He is an Advisory Systems Analyst at IBM in Poughkeepsie. When not on the job or volunteering with TRI, Tom enjoys watching college football and professional hockey, reading, listening to music, and playing his guitar. Tom lives in the town of LaGrange with his wife Elvira, and has three sons, Tom Jr., Brian, and Michael.
Whitney Philbrick, Vice President
Whitney is Vice President of the Board of Directors for Taconic Resources for Independence. He has a Marketing B.S. from Syracuse University and a Finance M.B.A. from Marist College. A former I.B.M. procurement professional, Whitney also served with the United States Marine Corps as a First Lieutenant. While on active duty, he incurred a back injury that has caused his disability, chronic pain. Whitney is married to fellow I.B.M. and Marist College M.B.A., Amy Flack Philbrick, with whom he has a beautiful baby daughter. He enjoys shooting sports and flying giant scale radio-controlled model aircraft.

Ryan A. Jones
Ryan holds an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor's degree in Management, and a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership. He is working on a Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). He is currently employed by Faith Assembly of God Church in Poughkeepsie as Director of School Age Child Care Programs. Ryan also serves as a committee member representing the faith-based community for the Children’s Services Council of Dutchess County.
Gordon Miller
Gordon has been on the Board of Directors since the late 1990’s, but his roots with TRI go back to 1986, when he started as a volunteer. He is a self-employed home renovator as well as a timber framer, and has volunteered at the Clearwater Revival for many years. He strives to inspire awareness of Deaf Culture and the Deaf Community, and is a strong supporter of the Mid-Hudson Interpreter Service. Gordon also enjoys outdoor activities and camping in New Hampshire with his English Mastiff.
Andrew D. Kehr
Andrew has been the Supervisor for the Occupational Therapy Program at the Dutchess ARC
Article 16 Clinic since 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Andrew currently resides with his wife and two energetic sons in Red Hook, where he is involved in various community activities. When not working, he can be found sailing on the Hudson River or skiing in the Catskills.

Marlene Taylor
Marlene Taylor holds a Masters of Professional Studies from New York Theological Seminary in Education and Ministry and a BA in English Literature and Black Studies from SUNY New Paltz. She has been employed by Mental Health America of Dutchess County for many years and currently holds the position as Education & Training Coordinator. She has extensive training with special populations including people with autism, communities of faith and senior citizens. A native of New York City, Marlene has resided in the Hudson Valley since 1972. Marlene is a writer of poetry, short stories and one act plays. She is married to Pastor Alfred E. Taylor and is the mother of three fine sons.
Blair Wing
Blair is an actress living in Poughkeepsie, NY. She also teaches, directs and has her own theatre company, Supernova Theatre Company, which has produced a New Work every year since 2006 on a classical or contemporary Human Rights Issue. She was recently seen in Ping Chong & Company's production Inside/Out Stories from the Disability Community sponsored by VSA arts at the Kennedy Center, and then Off-Broadway at the TimesCenter Stage in New York City. Blair has an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Dutchess Community College, a B.A. in Performance and Design Tech from SUNY New Paltz, and an M.F.A. in Acting/Creation of New Works from The Ohio State University.
