(TRI) is a center for independent living. We are consumer directed and community oriented. TRI assists people with disabilities to be as active and independent as they desire. We also seek to educate and involve our community in disability issues, to open doors for full participation and access for all. We encourage people with disabilities to make their own choices, and we provide support for them to reach their goals. Our services are available to people with disabilities, their families and friends, and our community. Taconic Resources for Independence is run by and for people with disabilities.
